  The staff may have been friendly. . . .initially. They did not keep us informed of what was going on with mother. When the doctor came in he was told she has eaten breakfast that morning, but he explained the procedure anyway. We thought it was no problem. It was a problem. We went to the icu waiting room it had on the card They gave us with her patient number to monitor the screen that tells what stage she was in surgery. We waited 4 hours until my dad said go see where your mother is. THAT was when we found out she had been admitted. Was told they had tried to contact us. Didn't happen. This was totally unnecessary. She should have come home and went early the next morning fasting from midnight on. This was done on purpose. Every time she goes they keep her 2 -3 days. They have $ signs in their eyes.
